Role description  

PulseLearning is seeking a highly driven, sales-focused individual with a proven track record in business-to-business sales. 

  

As our Business Development Specialist, you will build key Client relationships and exceed aggressive monthly sales targets to deliver high-value contracts and exceptional health and wellness learning solutions and services. You will be joining an internationally recognized brand that provides world-leading products and services to global Clients. This is primarily a new business role, but you will also manage and develop long-term relationships with your Clients. 

We are seeking a highly driven, sales-focused individual with experience in mental health and wellbeing for the I Am Here Team. 

This is primarily a new business role, and you will be someone who thrives and excels in a dynamic, supportive, and results-driven environment. Your tenacity and persistence will be matched by your ability to connect and build relationships with prospective Clients. You will be joining a growing brand with a start-up culture within an established, globally recognized learning solutions and services organization.

You will be able to strategize and implement tactics that attract new business accounts. You will coordinate with marketing to reach out to potential Clients and engage them through powerful content and marketing collateral. The right candidate should have at least three years of experience in finding and attracting new business through proven lead generation tactics implemented daily. You should have a strong understanding of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator (among other tools) to discover, interact with, and engage Clients.  


Role responsibilities  

  • Execute the sales strategy for Ireland and contribute to the evolution of this strategy in collaboration with the Managing Director for Europe. 
  • Drive and close sales to meet aggressive monthly sales targets. 
  • Develop a full understanding of the I Am Here Client base, market focus, partners, and product offering. 
  • Work closely with the Managing Director of Europe to generate leads within a focused business sector. 
  • Follow up on inbound leads for the Australasian market. 
  • Establish an ongoing pipeline of new sales opportunities. 
  • Use business acumen, sector knowledge, and experience to establish and enhance relationships with key contacts and decision makers for prospective customer accounts. 
  • Lead the sales process from initial Client contact through transition contract signing, project implementation, and contract renewal.  
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate weekly reporting through the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.  
  • Share a network of Clients and build on potential business relationships and partnerships with others who want to change behavior and impact the wellness of others.  
  • Complete administrative and sales documentation responsibilities as required. 
  • Maintain accountability for Clients and input into retention strategies, cross-selling opportunities and the evolution of the I Am Here activation based on Client needs and the needs of PulseLearning. 


Required Skills and Experience 

  • Demonstrated sales record of more than EUR €1 million a year 
  • 3+ years of experience selling to and managing Clients 
  • Skilled operator who can understand complex business challenges and turn them into impactful solutions, pipeline, and deal flow 
  • Demonstrated experience in selling solutions  
  • Excellent application of sales principles, styles, and techniques 
  • Persistence, resilience, and absolute sales focus—you don’t get distracted  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, is flexible, and has high energy to get work done 
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and analytical skills 
  • Demonstrated history of consistently delivering on expectations for growth and profitability  
  • Ability to quickly generate a high-quality pipeline  
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong Client and Team relationships working in a virtual environment  
  • A passion for and desire to learn and speak about mental health and wellbeing 
  • An infectiously positive attitude 
  • Deeply curious nature, seeking greater understanding of the true problem at hand and innovating to create the right solution to that problem 
  • Ability to bring an established network of contacts
